This policy covers fuforge.com — the website, the newsletter, your account, and anything you buy from us. Each FuForge app has its own privacy policy covering what happens inside that app, because the answer is different for each one.
Last updated: August 25, 2026 · Effective: August 25, 2026
The short version: We collect an email address if you give us one, and billing details if you buy something. We don't sell your data, we don't run ad trackers, and we don't build profiles on you. What happens inside our apps is covered separately — and in most cases, nothing leaves your device at all.
FuForge is a software studio operated by Burnt Bacon LLC, a Utah limited liability company doing business as FuForge, based in South Jordan, Utah, United States. When this policy refers to "we," "us," or "our," it means Burnt Bacon LLC.
Burnt Bacon LLC is responsible for personal information collected in connection with the website at fuforge.com. For users in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom, and Switzerland, Burnt Bacon LLC is the data controller of that information.
When you visit fuforge.com, we may automatically receive:
We do not use Google Analytics, cross-site tracking pixels, advertising networks, remarketing tags, or data brokers. We do not build behavioural profiles of visitors.
If you subscribe to the FuForge newsletter or join an app waitlist, we store the email address you give us and the date you subscribed. We use it to tell you when an app ships or a significant update lands.
Every email we send includes an unsubscribe link. You can also ask us to delete your address, and we will do so within 30 days.
If you create a FuForge account, we store:
One account works across every FuForge app. We use it to give you access to what you have bought and to let you manage your subscriptions.
If you buy a paid plan, payment is processed by Stripe. Your card details go directly to Stripe and are never seen or stored by us. We keep a billing reference, the amount, the date, and what you bought, because we are required to for tax and accounting purposes.
If you email us or use a contact form, we keep your message and your email address so we can reply and so we have a record of the conversation. We do not use support correspondence for marketing.
FuForge apps handle data differently from the website, and generally handle far less of it. Each app has its own privacy policy describing exactly what it stores, where it stores it, and what — if anything — it transmits.

We do not use your data for advertising, we do not build behavioural profiles, and we do not sell it to anyone.
We share data with a small number of services necessary to run FuForge. We do not sell your data to any third party.
Payments are processed by Stripe, Inc. Card details go directly to Stripe's servers and are never seen by us. Stripe is PCI DSS Level 1 certified. Stripe Privacy Policy →
Our store, accounts, and licence management run on WooCommerce on our own servers in the United States.
Transactional and newsletter emails are sent via a third-party email delivery provider. Only your email address and the relevant order reference are shared for this purpose.
Some pages embed videos from our YouTube channel. These embeds do not load until you click play. Once you do, YouTube receives your IP address and may set cookies, under Google's privacy policy rather than ours. If you never click play, nothing is sent to YouTube.

We process your personal data on the following legal bases: performance of a contract (providing your account, licences and support); our legitimate interests (securing our service, preventing fraud, and operating our website); your consent (newsletter and waitlist emails, which you may withdraw at any time); and compliance with legal obligations, such as tax record-keeping.

Nothing in this section removes any mandatory data-protection rights you have under the laws of your country of residence.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the "Last updated" date at the top and, for material changes, notify account holders by email at least 14 days in advance.
